Important Dates - South Coast Group 7 Rugby League - Senior Draw 2015
Please see below important dates pertaining to the senior league competition in 2015
28th / 29th March – Round 2 Under 18 matches only (see - 18th /19th April – below))
3rd / 4th / 5th April (Easter) – no matches
10th / 11th / 12th April – Round 1 - Competition (all grades) commences
18th / 19th April - No Under 18’s competition matches - The Under 18’s (and Under 16’s) play in the Greater Southern Region Mini Championships (Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th) or play Group 16 on Sunday 19th April (depending on funding). The Under 18 Round 2 matches will be played on 28th/29th March – see above
9th May – No competition matches apart from Under 18’s - Group 7 will play either Group 6 or Group 16 (depending on the result of their match the week before) in a senior representative match at a venue to be determined on Saturday 9th May and as such on that weekend (9th / 10th May) first grade, reserve grade, Third Grade and WLT competition matches will not be played, however the Under 18’s will play their Round 8 matches as the Under 18 Country Championships are on at Muswellbrook on 6th / 7th June (the scheduled dates of the Round 8 matches).
23rd May – Senior Country Championships - The Greater Southern Region senior representative team will play the Central Coast in the Tier 1 v Tier 2 play off of the senior Country Championships on Saturday 23rd May. The Round 6, Group 7 competition matches will be slotted into the draw as dates to be determined (either Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th May) depending on what players from what teams are selected - (we will know the selections following the Group 7 v Group 6 match on 9th May).
6th / 7th June Round 8 (Queens Birthday - long weekend) – No Under 18’s competition matches – Under 18’s (and Under 16’s) Country Championships (Muswellbrook). – Under 18’s Round 8 matches will be played on 9th / 10th May – (see above – 9th May).
13th June – Senior Country Championships – Semi Finals – The Greater Southern Region senior representative team will play in the semi final of either Tier 1 or Tier 2 (depending on their result from 23rd May), on Saturday 13th June. Once again the Round 9, Group 7 competition matches may have to be moved from Saturday 13th June to Sunday 14th June depending on what players are involved in the semi final.
20th June – Senior Country Championships Tier 1 and Tier 2 Finals - The Greater Southern Region senior representative team may be in the final (depending on results from 13th June) of either Tier 1 or Tier 2 (depending on their result from 13th June), on Saturday 20th June. Once again the Round 10, Group 7 competition matches may have to be moved from Saturday 20th June to Sunday 21st June depending on what players are involved in the final.
25th / 26th July – Spare Weekend
29th / 30th August – Final Series commences
20th September – Grand Final
